Course: Victorian Marine licence (Boat) and PWC (Jet Ski) endorsement.
Once you’ve successfully completed this course and licence assessment your certificate will be posted within two business days via Australia Post and arrive within Australia Post delivery timeframes. You then need to present your certificate to VicRoads and pay the relevant licensing fee to obtain your licence. No further testing is required at VicRoads.
Remember you need the following following:

Reasonable computer knowledge

Have at least two devices that at are connected to the internet. One mobile phone, tablet, laptop or PC with a camera, speaker and microphone for communicating via Goggle Classroom (online meeting program), and a second electronic device with internet.

You must provide a current email address and mobile phone number.

Download Google Classroom (link will be provided) and familiarise yourself with it prior to the testing date.

Have the required identification which must be uploaded with the enrolment form after booking and be sighted by the trainer via the webcam during your course. A drivers licence or learners permit is acceptable. Please see full list of ID Requirements

Are eligible for training you will be required to meet the course eligibility requirements

Have a good understanding of English, both written and verbal.
No prior knowledge, study or experience necessary for all age’s from12 years old and above.

You must be 16years old to obtain the PWC endorsement.
Ensure you have enough time to watch all of the video content before on-line assessment

Training– this consists of Seaton Training presentation video to be watched in your own time and Maritime Safety Video’s -You need to view all videos prior to your assessment, this takes approximately 3 hours.
Topics covered- Safety Duties, Licensing and Registration, Vessel Preparation, Safety Equipment, Trip Preparation, Safe Operations, Towed Water sports, Personal Watercraft, Operating Rules, Aids to Navigation, Vessel Lights, Day Shapes and Sound Signals.
Assessment– this is a live online session via Google Classroom. You will need to login at a scheduled assessment time where you will then have your identity confirmed. Your Trainer will go over some revision, and you will have a chance to ask questions. You will then complete the assessment under test conditions. This takes approximately 1.5hours.
